Since 2011 FHS has been using the Lifeline Peer Skills Program to train a group of aspiring leaders within our school. This 2 day program was developed in recognition that young people often speak with their friends and peers about something happening in their life before they approach an adult. This program equips students with the skills to support others, learning what they can help with and when to go to others for additional support. The program covers the areas of: Introducing Peer Skills, Exploring Values, Really Listening, Problem Solving, Looking after Yourself, Getting Help.
