Forbes High School win Cmoc- Northparkes Mine DV Cup

Forbes High School were successful in winning the Cmoc- Northparkes Mine Domestic Violence Cup against Parkes High School 32-18 last Wednesday.

Both sides displayed great sportsmanship last week and represented their schools with pride. Both teams played responsibly on the day and were extremely respectful towards our female referee Shanika Harpur, who did an amazing job  refereeing the match.

Congratulations to Kristian Markwort for being awarded the Cole Medal and to Michael Murphy for being awarded the Oliver Carlisle Memorial Medal. The event also showcased the talents of our Girri Girri students who performed on the day with a welcome and cleansing ceremony.

Captain on the day Charlie Staines accepted the Cup from Cmoc- Northparkes Mine on behalf of Forbes High School.
